Bill’s expertise, and humor, helped my wife and me through the difficult maze of medical jargon and procedures. His explanations not only made us better informed, but led us to ask better questions in my course of treatment.
While slowly and painfully recovering from colorectal surgery, I had the opportunity to discuss my condition with Bill Normile. He was a wealth of knowledge specific to my situation. He suggested options as well as questions for my doctor. I have since had a second surgery and am improving daily. I was fortunate to have Bill as a supportive guide through what is too often a medical vocabulary puzzle.
Hearing my cancer diagnosis from my doctor was a very frightening and scary experience. I needed a shoulder to lean on and help me decipher the research, terminology and my options for treatment. Bill helped me sort through the minutia, helped with questions to ask and helped guide me through the process to wellness. I never felt alone throughout my journey and appreciate I had someone like Bill as a knowledgeable resource to help me through such an emotional experience.
Back in 2011 I was experiencing a new level of discomfort from my Crohn’s Disease symptoms. It had become clear that treatment was imperative but it was difficult narrowing down my options. Bill helped with finding the best doctors, attendees appointments and researched the questions to review with the medical staff for me by looking at cost, insurance coverage, long term side effects, clinical data and many other items I did not even think of. I plan on staying with his service for the foreseeable future because Bill made a difficult time in my life significantly easier.
